Veteran status qualifications
- Active duty servicemember
- Veteran with honorable discharge
- Reservist/National Guard with honorable discharge and sufficient time served
- Surviving spouse of an eligible deceased Veteran
- Spouse of a MIA/POW servicemember

- Single-family detached
- Semi-detached
- Townhouse
- Row home
- PUD (Planned Unit Development)
- Condominium approved by VA
- 1-2 unit
Documents possibly needed
- W2, tax returns, pay stubs, employment history or retirement income
- Credit history, especially as it pertains to mortgages
- Appraisal of eligible property types
- Verification of U.S. citizenship
- Verification of VA entitlement
