David is an alumnus of American University’s Kogod School of Business, where he earned a degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance. As an Underwriter in the Purchase Division, he enjoys manually underwriting files, using pattern recognition and trend analysis to assess a borrower’s ability to repay. David takes pride in his ability to review each file thoroughly to ensure it meets lender and industry standards while applying creative problem-solving to defend and structure more complex scenarios. Outside of work, David enjoys spending quality time with his wife, traveling, exploring new cuisines, attending concerts and comedy shows, experiencing live music, and visiting amusement parks to take on the craziest rides

Jorgen is a graduate of Towson University, where he studied Economics. As Vice President of Underwriting at NewDay, Jorgen has been instrumental in optimizing the company’s digital infrastructure through strategic workflow implementation. His contributions include developing a licensable offshore function, training the team of underwriters for NewDay India, and fostering a culture of leadership and innovation.

Tanner is a graduate of University of Maryland Smith School of Business class of 2019 with a degree in finance. Currently an Assistant Vice President leading our Staff Appraisal Reviewer (SAR) Department with focus on appraisal review and property value analysis. Day to Day he reviews challenging and unique Appraisal reports for non-typical properties and handles appraised value appeals. In his spare time, he enjoys stock market analysis, reviewing new restaurants, and playing Chess.

David grew up in New Jersey, graduated from West Virginia University, and attended graduate school at LaSalle University. He moved from Maryland to the NewDay Florida office in 2025 and has been with NewDay for 13 years, taking on numerous roles within the company. Has been an Underwriting Manager since 2018, where he loves analyzing credit risk, helping train new Underwriters, and helping Veterans get into their dream homes. Outside of work, David enjoys watching all WVU Athletics, the Philadelphia Phillies, and Rickie Fowler. He spends his free time on the golf course or with his dog Major.

Andrew joined NewDay in 2016 as a Credit Analyst after graduating from the University of Maryland where he studied Economics. &nbsp;Following his acceptance into NewDay’s first Accelerated Underwriting Program Andrew progressed through the processing and underwriting departments and was ultimately promoted to underwriting leadership in 2022. &nbsp;Currently, as Chief Credit Officer Andrew oversees NewDay’s Underwriting department as well as the NewDay USA University which is responsible for administering the Accelerated Underwriting Program as well as the NMLS required training for the company.
