Lieutenant General Benjamin C. Freakley has over 36 years of active military service. In his last assignment he served as Commanding General of the United States Army Accessions Command, responsible for World Wide Recruiting, Officer accessions and Initial Military Training. He served as the Commanding General of the 10th Mountain Division during Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. In Iraq, General Freakley served as Deputy Commanding General of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He currently serves as the Professor of practice of Leadership for Arizona State University and is a Special Advisor for Leadership Initiatives to the President of ASU. He is a 1975 graduate from the U.S. Military Academy.
