NewDay USA volunteers gathered in West Palm Beach during Nurses Week to recognize the VA nurses and healthcare workers who care for veterans and military families year-round. As part of the company’s Hearts Behind Our Heroes initiative, roughly 100 volunteers provided lunch and refreshments for about 500 VA nurses, caregivers, and first responders.&nbsp;A NewDay USA spokesperson discussed why it was important for the team to show up hands-on for VA healthcare staff and create a moment of appreciation for the people supporting the veteran community every day.
