NewDay USA conducted a survey of current and former U.S. service members to better understand what’s holding military families back from buying a home right now. Results show that most non-homeowners still see homeownership as a major milestone. VA loan satisfaction is near-universal among those who used it, and rising home prices, income constraints, and saving for upfront costs remain the top barriers, as do misconceptions about the VA loan.
